Besides the size, why do people dislike the Renewed Proto-Drakes?
Any consensus on the least to most popular dragon skins/colors currently being used/sought after by players?
Also later down the expansion, do you think the most popular dragon model/color will shift from the current trend?
I like Blue, Red and Green are both really ugly. The bronze is a second favorite as its the same size/model as the wolfhawk making it small and easy to use. It’s going to be a very long time before I unlock all the different customization, maybe never.

You mention colors, what about model/skin? Do the colors mean the model? 
Is it just me or do the dragon riding mounts not scale in size based your race? As someone who plays bigger races like KT or Tauren I feel limited to the highlands drake. On the two smaller ones I feel like Andre the Giant riding a little kid’s bike.

Proto is pretty big, no? 
Yeah the proto size is fine too, just for me personally I have never liked protos as regular mounts either. I think they are ugly and awkward.

I spent over a decade working on my mount collection, just got an achievement and reward for having 500 mounts (Spectral Otter thingy) and the only time i get to use it is once a week when i go back to MoP for world bosses

It’s the tyrannosaur arms that kill it for me. Either go full dragon or full wyvern, come on.

I dislike the Renewed and Velocidrake because the swaying when running around on the ground waiting for Velocity to recharge gave me motion sickness.
Highland and Cliffside lack that swaying which is a relief. Though Renewed does have a special place for being my first dragon riding mount.
Color wise, I’ve only seen one Highland with a black skin but I think that’s mainly because it’s one of the easier skins to have gotten.

Good options on the proto-drake are all locked to start with. It’ll be far more popular when people have more of the options open.

Red Proto is still my favorite. I have the Red and Gold armor and it matches perfectly.
No reason to switch it up as of yet!

I like the blue because I prefer my dragons to have four legs and a set of wings.

All of them look good to me, I just don’t like using big mounts. If there was a customization option to reduce all their sizes, I wouldn’t just use cliffy.

My fave is the highland drake but I like them all. I think we’ll see more variety once colors and more looks unlock.

I love the Proto Drake but it is a bit big so I usually just use it when flying around randomly and exploring. Races can be annoying with such a big thing and I don’t use it much when questing cause I know how annoying having massive protodrakes land on quest givers is, especially when people don’t dismount and just stay on top
Other than that, it looks super cool, probably my second fave right after Highland Drake. The Pterodactyl dragon is also cool. Wyvern dragon looks goofy.

I hate dragon gliding… no hover , you can’t explore, and you can’t use all the mounts you may have worked hard to collect. Of anything, it should be an secondary way to travel.
I actually prefer the protodrake over the others because of how raw and feral it looks trudging around like its an absolute monster.

Its the size for me. Ive never been a protodrake fan.
Im thinking of going back to the teradax dragon once i get the beak though.
