Hey, I was just wondering how a prot warrior would hold up competitively in pvp.
Not great unless you’re an exceptional player with exceptional team mates.
Below is the outlier. It can be done but I wouldn’t get your hopes up.
I’ve had some luck in lower -1800 brackets for rbgs as a warrior. Keep your mist weaver infront of you. Intervene them and leap to get across the field. The hold on flags, i’ve not survived past 8 stacks since kiting is a bit more difficult on Prot.
I feel viable in PvP. Heroic leap and dragon’s charge are great mobility, and I’ve felt good in 1v1 since 8.1, dropping a Brace for Impact azerite trait for Battlefield focus and some Gutrippers and picking up the new Bastion of Might trait. I have reasonable burst dmg, and can kill noob casters with a well timed spell reflect and the burst damage.
Why is that guy stacking versatility so much?
Vers = damage
18% vers is 18% damage, 18% ignore pain and 9% damage reduction. Most well rounded stat for prot in pvp I’d imagine.
