Hey all, I’ve been playing both Prot Warrior and Bear so far in M+ consistently this season. I’ve completed every dungeon in +4 (not impressive I know) and wanted to get others input.
Before anyone says play what you enjoy, I have enjoyed both classes and specs making me unbiased on which one I will end up running full time.
Which class has the highest upside as far as survivabilty and damage for going for M+ 7-9. I think my abilities will be capped at +9 but I’d like to provide the best team comp and offensive/defensive attributes to my team.

I main bear, but prot is not only insanely good, but it’s more fun to play (respectively). I’d go prot.

You should play the one you like the feel of better, honestly. No telling who is on the nerf chopping block these days.
Warrior just takes the least damage of any tank I’ve seen, but it’s self healing is low. Does fantastic damage. Very mobile. Personally I also think it is the most fun tank spec, and most closely hits the “Tank” fantasy for me.
Guardian – I’m gonna be frank, I hate everything about Guardian druids. I want to love them. I want to love druids. But Guardian’s rotation feels abysmal to me. It’s like splashing mud around, nothing feels like it matters. The class/spec trees annoy me to the point where I don’t even want to play the class. Druid of the Claw is the most disappointing trash can in the game. I also do not like the moonbear stuff. That being said, It can be tanky, it has decent self healing. Incap Roar is VERY good. Stampeding Roar is fantastic. Has lots of buttons to live – though GL being happy with your spec cause you really don’t have enouch talent points to build a fully coherent/themed spec. You’ll always feel like your spec is kinda incomplete or missing something. The Devs also seem to have no idea what to do with Druids and this problem isn’t going away any time soon.
I find bears keep exploding in my high keys, but Prot Warriors seem stable.
