I feel like I am missing a button to push I am just sitting here waiting for a something to come off cd. None of the other tank classes I have played seem like this.
You’re not playing properly if you’re waiting for abilities. Go post a log on the discord if you’re serious, unless this was some weird complaint. Prot always has something to press unless you’re leveling.

I am playing, have played for many years just not been very serious on the tank spec for warriors. I am pushing all the buttons, it seems odd that there isn’t a weapon attack maybe I have chosen my talents poorly, but I am following the starter build. I am lvl 64 right now…and doing follower dungeon runs are weird on threat for sure.
There’s your issue. When you hit cap, you will have enough rage to use Revenge to your heart’s content while keeping up shield block and IP as necessary. Just hang in there.
If you run out of things to do, can always leap away, charge back to get rage. If you run intervene, use that in a party. You should be spamming thunderclap, especially when in avatar mode. Thunderclap, revenge, thunderclap, revenge, spam. Use avatar with demo shout, thunderous roar, ravager to do burst damage.
Highest APM tank that I personally play, probably highest APM spec I play. Max level with haste will help.
