I have noticed its hard to avoid adds in SL while leveling other classes. I was wondering if Prot might be faster to level than Ret in SL just following the story quest line?
I swapped back and forth between ret and prot while leveling using threads.
Prot, imo, felt easier because I could pull a bunch of stuff no problem and easily survive. Also felt like if people saw me as a tank pulling stuff in the open world, they’d be more inclined to come over and help making it that much faster lol.

Good point! Everyone loves to jump on a mob pile!
Not to mention, we tanks cannot be dazed! So if you want to run through mobs and use your mount equipment slot for something else, prot is also a better option for that.
