hey guys i been getting alot of haste verse gear as ret. i know prot stats are haste mastery. will having 37%+ verse gimp me in prot spec. all my gear has haste verse

Technically, both specs take Haste Mastery, but for ret Mastery is the dominant stat while for prot Haste is the dominant stat.
i understand but i got pvp gear which is a which is haste vers and was wondering how bad is having roughly 37% verse for prot vs mastery. is it going to be rough for me tanking while I farm haste mastery gear.
No, youll be fine. Just make sure you have around 25% haste or more, and make sure youre talented and the right covenant.

ty ty i tanked before in s 2 worked changed so i had to quit raiding so this season i went full on pvp so im getting back into tanking
Hey, Im gonna pile on what Gene said here.
You might want to try lowering your haste in favor of mastery a bit. In any case you should try simulating your character to know what should be your priority depending on a given scenario.
There no real haste breakpoints anymore other than how it feel to play at different level of haste. You also might not need as much haste depending on your trinkets.

Haste mastery all the way. Vers not bad on tank but youre not getting as much % per stat compared to mastery. I like to run around 25% haste then trying to put rest in mastery.
