Prot pvp nerfs again in 10.0.7

Was wondering if there was any insight we could get from devs on the most recent patch notes nerfing prots CD reduction in PvP.

Prot Pally is nowhere near a problem spec, and is the worst it’s been in years. Queens CD was already bumped up to 5 minutes to compensate for it being strong. Now we get less value from our cd reduction. Also Uther’s Counsel is getting nerfed in pvp to be it’s pre 10.0.7 value, but now takes 2 talent points to get the same value after the talent rework.

I’m just lost on what the goal is here. Regardless of how some players feel about tanks the changes just feel out of touch. There’s been a ton of nerfs to prot’s throughput and stuff already. I just want a clear answer on why devs feel it is a problem. Clearly they aren’t gonna change their mind.

They’ve been working overtime since beta to make sure tanks aren’t good. SL was a fluke.

I mean we feeling solid in pve at least… Lol. But yeah blizz doesn’t want tanks to rated PvP this is not new. Tbh I think they should just ban tanks in arena so we can still have fun in BGs and be done with it.

I disagree with them being allowed. But it’s just crazy to me how it feels like targeted nerfs for a spec that’s arguably underperforming. What’s worse is the new Ret talents they gave them make them a juiced up prot utility bot. Instant Flash of Light for good healing plus strong wogs. Spellwarding is now a pvp talent for ret. It’s actually absurd.

I just wanna que up prot with my boys and it not feel like trash. They went and changed an avengers shield single target talent so its now wayyy worse in pvp too since you can’t control the bounce.

I remember the bear druid meta in arena a while back. It was just so awful, I wouldnt be surprised if that meta made people unsub
