Why are so many Top Prot PvPers (but not all) Lightsmith?
In timed target dummy tests (Dornogal gates), I get more damage from Templar, and better burst.
I had no idea that there were prot paladin pvprs with rating. I learn something every day.

To better go with the heal/support role they are assigned to in pvp.

Lightsmith gives more defensives and aoe damage, which helps you spin nodes and be an annoyance far better. Templar is more fun, though

4 of the top prot pallys in Solo Shuffle are the same guy…LOL. You know the representation is bad when one guy can gatekeep that easily.

Right, so while one guy got high rating fighting other teams with a prot paladin in SS, prot paladin is still performing poorly in bgs including rated.

I’m glad someone could. Still hope for some changes to make Protection Paladin as effective at orb/flag carrying as most healers and some dps are. Having a tank be the worst person on your team to flag/orb carry feels wrong.

Agreed! I feel like some of the recent fixes are helping to change that, but still has a long way to go…
