Right now I’m a Venthyr prot paladin and was thinking of switching to Kyrian. (I feel like I’m the only prot paladin that went Venthyr)
Is it worth the switch or should is Venthyr still viable for Mythic dungeons?
If you are primarily a M+ player Kyrian and its not even a little close. Venthyr is amazing at single target DPS which makes it a stronger raiding covenant choice. But kyrian divine toll is

very narrow analysis. there is more to covenants than just the singular attacks you get.
general draven is the undisputed best tanking soulbind.
OP: rextroy, towelliee and several others went and are staying venthyr and it’s not because of ashen hallow.

I wouldn’t pick based on mechanical advantages right now. They’re almost surely going to do tuning passes on covenant abilities and soulbinds at some point in the coming weeks.
In any case, I’d say stay Venthyr. The soulbinds are very strong and Ashen Hallow is honestly probably better to have on tyrannical weeks (and is better than DT in raids). They are both solid covenants. You cannot go wrong with any of the choices.
I was kyrian and went ven 2 days ago and regret nothing.

IMO, Kyrian.
Divine Toll on both Holy and Prot and feels essential as far as im concerned.
Quick AoE threat is easy to snag at a moments notice when you have a plethora of cap A shields flying around.
Being able to Holy Shock your entire party for a big AoE heal is the only thing that makes Holy playable imo.

Prot paladin here, the only two options you should really consider are “Night Fae” for raiding priority, or “Kyrian” for mythic+ priority.
I recently went from venth to kyrian just for the sole fact that ashen rips threat like no other ability in the game atm. Its no fun wiping due to horrid tank swaps.
Kyrian if you Pug, Venth if you have a solid Mythic group to run with
Then you did it wrong… you should be the puller… lol
