They just nerfed it, it’s fine
That was not a nerf. It is still beyond ridiculous. It’s absurd Prot Pally/X can dominate the 2v2 bracket and Prot Pally with 2 DPS can dominate 3s.
You can’t kill a BIS geared prot pally right now, and I’m sure once they get their BS cov powers in SL, they will be unkillable then too.
300% to 250% wasn’t a nerf?
That’s a 50% nerf.
Literally cut their healing in half…

Yeah that equates to roughly a ~17% nerf.

To calculate the percentage of the buff/nerf where you from X to Y, it is not:
Y - X
The equation is actually:
(Y - X)/X × 100
So:
(250% - 300%)/300% × 100
= -50%/300% × 100
= -17%
Negative sign signifies a nerf.

personally I totally agree that prepatch should be better balanced across the board but I’d say that a number of things are equal or higher priority for balancing over prot pally healing
I’ve received many accolades for my mathmatic skills, just want to add that you can also set up a proportion, which sometimes is easier for people. Despite my young age, I’ve taught and worked with many different people, some people are just visual learners.

What are you talking about? Protection isn’t the only spec that is broken atm. there’s lots of spec broken in prepatch now. I can’t see a thing that is balanced in prepatch atm.
