[Prot Paladin] Final Stand doesn't always work, killing party members

I’ve tanked about ~90 M+ dungeons so far in this expansion and I can say, without a doubt in my mind, that the Final Stand trait that is supposed to allow Divine Shield to maintain aggro (and actually taunts all mobs within 15 yards) does not work 100% of the time. It is most noticeable in boss fights. I just ran an M+18 Court of Stars and on the final boss my DH DPS died due to boss melee as soon as I hit my divine shield.

I’m not sure what influences this bug but it’s happened enough times to be noticeable. This can really mess up a high level key and either wastes a brez or ends up wiping a group depending on affixes/fight. It is really painful to watch a group lose a key because this talent didn’t trigger.

I’ve been having the same issues. Final Stand definitely a chosen talent and boss finds another meal as soon as I bubble. Luckily a taunt pulls him back but its a lot harder when this happens in a large pull.

Is this bug ever going to get acknowledged or fixed? Hello?

This bug still exists and seems to happen almost every time I use divine shield during boss fights.

So I hit Divine Shield, I see the boss turn towards another member, then I taunt back, and if I’m lucky the boss comes back to me without hitting the other player. It makes using DS a tough decision when it shouldn’t be. It should feel like a safe choice to use DS, a moment to breathe. Instead, DS is something where I have to debate if I’m about to destroy someone’s key or not because if I don’t taunt fast enough someone dies, but if I don’t hit DS and I’m out of cooldowns then I’m going to die. It feels very bad.

This bug just caused me to wipe on m10 group on the 2nd boss in Dawnbreaker, used it to aoe taunt the adds and lost all threat caused a wipe, GG
