It would seem that templar is not changed for prot paladin. IT still is 60 stacks for a hammer of light, 10 sec for judgement buff, etc.
Yeah, it was a Templar Ret only change.
so why did the hpal dawnlight nerf by 15% 3 days ago affect ret too ? same as the dawnlight 30% heal increase for holy, and same as the prot changes to lightsmith affected holy ?
I believe when they refer to hero talents balancing they specify the origine spec as the balance target. Since ret is templar, holy is herald, and prot paladin lightsmith, it makes sense when balancing the hero talents that they dont put it in general paladin changes blue post but in the specific spec it originates from, even if the changes apply for both 2 specs it’s related.
Eh? That’s the first I’ve heard of that, and I’m not finding anything about it in the paladin discord as a new bug.
I’m not saying that it isn’t possible, this patch is definitely bugged as hell. But the Templar buffs they made for Ret were specifically categorized as Ret only. Probably to balance out the fact that Ret cannot cycle builders like prot can to build up free hammers.
prot cannot cycle builders tho lmao way less than ret. Btw nobody uses the paladin discord so dont bother, every rank 1 and theory crafter i know dont use it and/or are banned for sharing builds on there that were not the default wowhead builds, even tho they are the top 1 on the leaderboard using their builds lmao.
That server is full of average / noob paladins who dont know anything about the skill cap ret min maxing.
I’m checking for understanding here. What does this mean? What builder is Prot cycling? Thank you!
you got banned for saying slurs, this is a straight lie because your salty for getting banned
Blessed Hammer and judgement are both on a much shorter cooldown and are reset far more often than blade of justice and ret judgement.
My assertion is that prot did not have an issue with shake the heavens uptime while ret did before the ret only Templar buffs.

Blessed Hammer and judgement…much shorter cooldown…reset far more often than blade of justice and ret judgement…[/quote]
Gotcha. I was thinking you meant something along those lines.
I’ve seen people question why one would ever take Blessed Hammer over HotR in the Spec tree choice node, but I play mainly PvP and love having Blessed Hammer to keep myself pre-loaded with HoPo for a preemptive SotR when running into battle, or a quick WoG if needed. I also use it (in conjunction with Cons) to out stealthies…
HotR requires a target (“I neeeed a tarrrget” ), so I can’t use it in the same way.
i didn’t say slurs, i literally only ever told the prot paladins they were wrong and they didn’t know how to play prot paladin correctly, then also flexing on them by soloing a raid, an entire city, a m+10 and getting top 1 world in pvp as prot to show dominance as best prot paladin.
They got even more mad from that because i was literally a god as prot paladin and people would listen to my tips and tricks over theirs that they just banned me.
It’s sad that people who focus on sharing information are always people who aren’t top players and don’t know what they are talking about, sharing misinformation and making the average player unoptimized.
I didn’t really care since it means they would buff prot paladin because in average all prot paladins that didn’t use my builds were doing less dmg, less healing and taking more dmg. I kept quiet and used clever game mechanics to get everything i wanted during BFA and SL.
i like how you lie with such a confidence even tho you never did those things.
so basically you needed to cheat and use exploits instead of actually being good. no1 prot paladin in pvp here everyone.
I didnt hide them, i just didnt share them because people didnt want me to. They would say its not even good and doesnt even work even tho i got r1 with it lmao.
Ehh idk about what said poster got banned for but I do think the pally discord is a pretty closed minded and rather toxic group.
