Does the 4 set bonus add significant survivability? Not sure what it is, but I’ve been rocked more in 12s lately than I was last week. I haven’t changed anything with my rotation, routes, play style, and have only increased my ilvl. I didn’t see any published nerfs to paladin either. I have noticed the pug quality for 12s has significantly diminished. I’m wondering if the extra holy power and increased proc time for guardian provides that much more survivability that I would notice.
My guess it yes it adds surv by having back ti back to back sotr and constsnt empyrean hammers dropping for hammers of light.
My issue so far in my time with the 4set is its seemingly inconsistant proc chance. Its supposed to be on damage taken but Ive had streaks of it no proccin at all in an entire pull and then proccing with boss at 8%.
More often than not it procs when I dont need it which is a shame.
RNG defensive proc, as it is done here, are the absolute worst conceptual idea for tanks.
I encourage everyone to write directly to blizz through the in-game feedback tool that this type of effect is not ever welcomed on tanks.
random GoAK’s are relatively minor, the true surv buffs from the tier set are in the CDR of Wings, AD, and Bubble through HP refunds.
I just switched from Lightsmith to Templar this morning and holy crap is it much better. I didn’t realize Lightsmith was so much squishier this season.
I dont enjoy lightsmith prot, like at all. They missed the mark imo with its rotation and functionality. Templar prot with eye of tyr feels core to prot as a whole not just a hero talent.
