In BG, Protection is amazing (I pvp and level as Protection). You are a great node guard cause you can stay up long enough for help to arrive. And an excellent flag carrier.

In 1v1, 2v2 I’d say Ret. In those game its about killing fast. While you can kill decently as Protection, Ret is much faster. Ret won’t stay up as long, but in a dps race, go Ret.

Not what do you want to que as far as maps and size of group. What do YOU want to do. Dps? Support? Heal?

Right now ret is doing really well from what i have seen from people like savix. It seems lower dmg outside cds. But has the ability to 100-0 very quickly. Prot is doing well in pvp as a support from what has been reported. As for me and my style i am choosing prot.
