I’m half RPing as an amoral Venthyr aristocrat high elf (i know its trope-ish dont judge) But I cant seem to decide on a proper pet. I dont like wow bats at all, so I’d prefer to avoid them. The only one I can think of off the top of my head is the dark orange tiger from panda land, but I know there has to be better.
What are your suggestions?

Bloodbeasts in general, perhaps worms if you wanted to roleplay one as being a blood sucking leech of sorts, or I dunno maybe a Bloodthorn Raveger.
That’s all that’s coming to mind to fit with the whole blood theme.
Gargons are an excellent choice but require BM to use and need the Gargon Training Manual to even tame. OP could use the Felsteeds from SFK as they will become tamable pre-patch or tame Somber Down from Broken Shore, As for beasts that are native to Revendreth, spiders, bats, bears (disease skin) darkhounds, helhounds, gargons (BM only), and coursers ( horses ).
I feel like a bat would be the only option.
