blizzard like in theory is in a bad situation involving these people because either u ban them and make them upset and a huge deal about it - or you let it go on and it just makes others upset.

It’s very simple. Literally ignoring any thread that is made by Talon and his 50 army of alts would put an end to it.

The most effective thing would be if we just stopped replying, but that will never happen.
The next best solution is for Blizzard to just ban them. If it were literally any other topic, they’d already have been banned 10 times over. They’re not dragging their feet here because it might upset the troll.

Well that and the fact there’s a fine line between trolling and an actual discussion. If blizzard banned them I feel like there would be backlash about how they don’t care about all of this lgtbq stuff. Blizzard already ain’t looking so hot the past year anyways so they’re not as trigger happy as they used to be…
The thing is, they’re not exactly doing something that is inherently wrong. But for the rest of us, it’s clear he’s a troll using the same topic to farm attention because people will bite every time, despite him naming his alts the same way.
It’s funny when he start replying to his own threads on his other alts.

In the end, this place has a very small community and I’m only aware of like 2 dedicated trolls.
So none of this really matters.
That modern games/things are including them doesn’t mean most people want them.
Stop spamming. Stop trolling. Stop breaking the Code of Conduct. Stop being repugnant.
It’s extremely unlikely to cause a backlash because nobody is gonna care about somebody being banned on the forums. General internet response to “I was banned!” posts is to just assume the person is lying and they had it coming, at least in my experience with reading those kinds of posts.
The only people who will even know who the hell is being talked about are those of us who know they’re just a troll.

Some examples could be he/him or she/her in the character tooltip. Just some guesses on how it would work in-game.

They may be afraid of that, but it only underscores the ridiculous state of America’s current sociopolitical culture. The people doing this as the ‘T’ persona are blatantly trolling, and spamming.

No disrespect to people who struggle with this sort of thing, but is it really needed?
In my opinion language is already rapidly evolving towards a gender neutral pronoun becoming the default norm, which I’m fine with but we’re not there yet. Meanwhile in this age of hyper political correctness I feel like we’re already being confronted with stuff like this at literally every turn, it’s just getting a bit old… Mostly the drama that tends to come with it is getting real old real fast…
Btw, aren’t there already like a bunch of RP addons and stuff which allow you to do stuff like add pronouns and what have you?
