im having this issue just in 25 man raids as well and im to stupid to figure out how to do any of these fixes
honestly right now there is no actual fix that i know of, imo itās something on blizzards end that they need to look into
It might be some kind of change to Warden, but realistically, itās probably a combination of that and your OS. Iād almost bet money that a lot of people having these issues are using a debloated version of Windows to play on or have run some kind of ādonāt spy on meā debloating software after installing Windows that removes a lot of āspywareā things they are paranoid of(Microsoft, Google and your ISP already know everything about you and can cross reference with other analytics) and probably the microsoft store as well. If your Windows installation is missing certain key system elements, then there might be clashes with the anticheat engine.
Most of these DXDIAGs are showing the exact same kinds of errors where people are missing very specific system files, even if they arenāt directly tied to WoW, it shows there is a pattern to your operating system environments. Files that Iāve never seen show up in a report before and Iāve seen hundreds upon hundreds of reports over the years. So to me, it screams modified OS issues clashing with an anticheat engine.
the other day i reset my pc to factory settings and upgraded to windows 11 and did all the updates and i really donāt mess with anything that you are speaking of, and all this fps started to happen literally the day pre patch launched as with many other people so i feel like itās a big coincidence that dozens of players went from 1 day of no fps issues to that pre-patch day full of them and unfortunately for some of us it still prevails
well guess im not playing wrath classic than cuz its not enjoyable to lag when i can play retail and have 0 issues rip to me
@stalebread ive also done exactly what u did and still nothing. the game isnt enjoyable dealing with that pos stuff
Exactly and they are seemingly ignoring it.
so basically the ppl that do have this issue are screwed and gotta deal with it. how do ppl that dont have issues with this have there setup like what?
honestly they just got lucky imo, i donāt know the exact reason, itās not their extremely expensive pc, plenty of people with good pcs have this issue, and itās not an addon that we are all sharing as multiple people have tried disabling all addons while in raid and the problem is still apparent. Looks like we are just screwed wish i had a other pc to test it on but i do not
i have a 2014 comp but why would i wanna play on that outdated thing ha
so you think like a valorant anti cheat client could be messing me in wow?
its interesting cause i have the same specs as you and also experiencing same problems.
This is a terrible take. Sure, their windows may not run perfectly, but no OS does.
This isnāt what is causing PCs to have lag ONLY in WoW and in very specific situations such as Dalaran, Wintergrasp, Raids, BGs.
I have a 5900x, RTX 3080, 32 GB and I still experience lag/fps drops in Wrath Classic. It has nothing to do with Windows āmissing dllā files.
The game is just bad⦠Its Like New World, but worse. I Played TBC just fine, ultra settings and 100+fps. On TLK with minimum grafics It just go trough 60-80 fps and inside 25ms it get like 30!
Also having the same issue! Itās fine in 10mans and was fine before prepatch but now since then 25 mana itās just choppy as all get out.
Same issue for everyone in my guild. Pre-patch changed something because 25m content performance is really bad. Weāve tried disabling all addons and using stock UI, and that doesnāt fix it. Weāve tried adjusting different graphics settings and that doesnāt do it. Something changed on the client side that is causing this and I really hope Blizz fixes whatever they broke.
Mine is too large to post in this thread, so hereās the pastebin link:
I love how thereās also no acknowledgement from Blizzard on this issue. They fix the fiery gloves in less than 24 hours but nothing something like this.
