Professors are rough

Man I am writing and like I realize I can’t understand anything I don’t want to drop the class because I am actually learning something however they are also rough.

RMP (Ratemyprofessors) is an invaluable tool to use as a student.

Cool, but what does that have to do with WoW?

It’s affecting my time on WoW i guess.

Keep your head up OP, Gondor sends it’s thoughts, prayers, and facebook likes.

What class?

I’m in community college and they offer college level English classes that I am currently taking.

College level English is rough. Best of luck, and don’t be afraid to ask for help. Having to retake a class is expensive and sucks.

I know it can be a little anxiety inducing, but I would certainly recommend reaching out to the prof or TA (if your course has them) and asking for just a little clarification on the ideas that you are struggling with.

I work at a Uni TA’ing and leading tutorials/workshops and I always invite students to reach out or tell me if they need a little more help with conceptualising ideas :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

My anxiety telling me what to do but then I do the opposite

You would know what to do, but your anxiety tells you to do the opposite.

Okay what kind of essay are you writing and how many words/pages is it supposed to be.

Get off General discussion and start focusing your attention.

In my youth I’d audit a course the first time tuition-free, and if I felt I could test out after that I’d save some time and money. It made it much easier when I knew what the bibliography was for the course and the personality of the professor.

Can you still audit a course? My favorite was the UC Berkley law courses and their law library. Nice campus too.

I finished the essay. I’m just complaining about how rough it was. Honestly the topic too inappropriate to discuss here. I will be muted for discussing it

Just argue about the pros of human cloning. Thats what I write about for all college english or biology essays.

Quizlet is a thing for fluff classes… just saying xD Though I would never recommend using that for your core area of studies I have gone down the dark path for things like the cooking class I was forced to take… as an architect.

The option I usually went with for bad profs was to just find another session with a different prof, drop the course with the bad prof and plan to take the new one next semester.
