Professions

So I've been told by many that tailoring/enchanting is the most viable in professions currently due to bags and such, I currently roll herb/inscription in which to be honest barely making any sales on it as is. Are both tailoring/enchanting worth going for or perhaps tailoring/herbal just to sell herbs.
Tailoring sucks. Drop rate for cloth is terrible. My tailor farmed cloth for an hour at a supposedly good location and couldn't get enough for a single skill point.
Alchemy and Herbalism if you want to make money.
WoD tailoring still works. i have 5 tailors and i am considering adding more.
hexweave bags sell reliably.
i hate to be that guy, but the professions in this expansion are complete trash and not worth the effort. i would pick up mining and herbing and hope to sell what you farm. the drop rate for the destroying is so bad, its not worth bothering.

vendor you soulbound blues for cash. i have tried many different professions and none of them are worth it. literally not a single one

Can you still trap wolves for cloth in WoD and not one shot them?
mining still good too.

it depends on how much you are used to earning for your time, but 3200 for a stack of 200 ghost iron isnt bad. the stuff is in endless supply in that zone to the west of jade forest. you can easily get a stack while waiting for a ten minute q to pop.

my toons are 110 so yeah. either way, i would find a way.

i give the cloth away basically, but 11 barns and 5 tailors are still good for 60-70k a week for 0 work.

during wod the money was silly -- but 3 years later ... not bad considering the time with the wolves is down to basically nothing.
I'm making good money with herbalism and alchemy. I would say get a Sky Golem if you don't already have one, since you can herb while mounted, but you're a Druid. Unless you want the speed increase. The Zandalari/Kul Tiran Herbalism glove enchant is nice because it takes your gather time down to .5 seconds. Raiders eat up the flasks and if stuff isnt selling you can always fall back to selling mats. I spent around an hour making the loop in Tiragarde between Norwington and Hatherford this morning and got about 100 each of Riverbud, Sirens Pollen and Star Moss, and about 15 Anchor Weed.

You still use the barns to queue Sumptuous Fur work orders right?

Then use the fur to queue hexweave work orders?

What do you mean give the cloth away?
I think the reason professions aren't as good is because they're so accessible. It used to be that if you wanted to make current content gear you had to have leveled up to the max profession level at the time.

Now that anyone can pick up any profession at any point and be making current recipes, the value of them has plummeted.

The only real thing left to separate one person from another is if they have the rank 3 recipes.
yeah you have the idea. 11 barns yields so much cloth 5 tailors cant use it all.
so the rest goes on the AH.

at 300g per 200 im pretty sure that is cheap but its all cheddar to me.

the AH game seems a little stale these days, but you can count on the hexweave bags for sure. one guy keeps buying all my savage bloods ... not sure how reliable that would be elsewhere.

You can buy fur with garrison resources, just need to check when the cheapest vendor is selling at trading post (if you have one). I funnel to my one tailor and keep making bags which usually go for 1500 to 2000 gold.
