So I was told skinning would be good to make extra money (I have mining and skinning and am gonna switch to BS after 40) but is skinning worth it right now or would I make more money with BS?
Skinning is OK for making money, but only in the sense that you’re vendoring your skins… it’s not like they are selling for much on the AH (idk about your server, but definitely not on mine).
You may consider getting an AH addon, or joining a guild where someone has one, so you can type in ?[item-name] into chat, and see latest AH prices for those items.
Higher level skins may net a bit of a higher profit, but as far as I can tell, not a lot of people are making gold from professions atm. Alchemy might be a good one for selling pots later, as well as cooking for buff food.
Fishing may be OK for that, but it seems that the best way to make money right now (and please! someone correct me if I am wrong), is leveling, grinding mobs (beasts seem to drop a lot of stuff you can vendor), and vendoring items.
I just vendor the skins I grab. It’s the easiest gathering prof since you’re literally right there for mobs that you can skin. Not like herb or mining where you have to seek out the nodes. It’s literally just money in your pocket without doing anything out-of-the-way.
