Why are you making profession items so strong and basically a required thing. LW will now have 2 bis pieces and people must now choose between raid consumes or bis gear. This has only one outcome being the price of consumes will sky rocket and a lot of people will now have to respec and level tailoring,leather working and black smithing. Do the devs actually play the game or have any idea about the stats?

I think their point is that if everyone goes Tailoring/Leatherworking/Blacksmithing, then there will be one one to gather herbs or craft raid consumes? But I’m only guessing.

The only option is either make crafting items provide BiS items and “mandatory” or not provide BiS items and make them useless. This helps the game by providing values to armor crafting profs as well as alch.

This is a silly question because the answer is so obvious. If crafted items aren’t relevant then there is no reason for anyone to take those professions. You are whining that you now have to make a choice between crafting your own consumables and crafting bis items. Tough. Those are the exact kind of choices one should have to make in MMOs.

The only thing that I would argue is that those bis epic crafted items should be BOE so that players can choose where they want to spend their gold (consumables or crafted gear).

Fun fact: you will still do decent damage/healing/tanking without the professions that craft gear. Also, if you choose Alchemy, you can profit off your profession for far longer as you cannot sell the items crafted by other professions (which I think is a little silly tbf).

I do think that Alchemy should have it so elixirs also are retained through death and they should get a decent trinket that is on par with the raid/pvp gear.

What if I were to tell you that you can have raid consumes AND BIS gear :exploding_head:

I agree that it kinda sucks when your bis is a bop crafted item. Only when the bis is much stronger than the alternative non-crafted item. But Sod team being what they are, balancing is not their strong point so… It is what it is.

Alchemy is left in the dirt again in phase 3. Flasks that can only be used in nightmare… wtf
Other professions have great stats and some on use effects that don’t need to nightmare. Other proc chance (that also require nightmare) but still have good stats.

SoD alchemy has basically just been normal classic alchemy. Yes you may be able to make more gold than other professions, but look at all the cool stuff you get from other professions.

Why can’t they give us something actually useful and fun…

Unless anyone knows otherwise nightmare areas is just the incursions? I would have expected that it include the ST raid at least.

Mixology and Transmute Master quests are in the game, but they’re not working.
