Professions Week Quest

The Professions Week Quest Need to be 100% drop rate, there’s no reason and is completely idiot that you need to kill 100 mobs to complete the quests.

And, well, some areas have really low population of mobs, making the experience even worse.

Example," Mundane Gems, I Think Not! " JC quest.

Jesus, what a BAD EXPERIENCE DOING THIS SH**.

Really. I really hate doing them cause of the bad drop rates and if it’s not the bad drop rates it’s the lack of mobs in some areas.

I think it might help if the quests were randomized, so that, for example, not every tailor got the same quest every week. Then there wouldn’t be a dozen tailors stalking the half dozen mobs that drop an item you need ten of for the quest. It’s asinine the way Blizzard set this up and it needs to be fixed.

It’s just one more cut in the ‘death by a thousand cuts’ that this xpac is putting out right now.

Have anyone of you done the Enchanting one, Crystal Quill Pens? As far as I can tell, it is a 100% drop rate. The spawn rate, however, is absolutely awful. I’ve identified about 3 areas where they supposedly spawn, and I’ll go there, and there is exactly one mob. No exaggeration. I run around for 5 minutes looking for more, but don’t find any. At this point I have 11 of 15 quest items after about 40 minutes. Absolutely frustrating.

I tried to edit but deleted my previous post on accident.

I did that one earlier today. The locations it tells you to go on the map are terrible. Try going to 33.5, 47.2 in Ohn’Ahran Plains. There are at least 10-15 spawns in the area, and I was able to finish the quest in 2-3 minutes after wasting nearly 15 minutes trying to get them from the locations that are actually marked on the quest tracker.

The first profession quest I did since reset was my enchanting one and I was thinking it was 100% drop rate too but it isn’t.

At least the first area in Vadrakken I did dropped off every mob I killed but there was only a few there and respawn was terrible. Tried south at another location and only saw 1 mob and it didn’t drop nothing.

The 3rd area I did south more had more but was farmed more heavily and took more kills then needed again.

I would pass these profession quests over if I didn’t need the points.

Working on one right now…killed 15 monsters and am only at 2/10…bummer

This one is the dragon wings in starting area so WILL go fastER (not FAST) than lets say the Dracthyr weapons where you need 25 count while battling a mix of ELITE mobs & experiencing a 20-30% drop rate, but already bored with it and wanna do something else,

That would be nice, something at least. Those with multiple crafters are still out in the cold though.

BUMP up the drop rate. IF you are going to require 20-25, then make it guaranteed or allow it to drop several at a time when it finally does pop…

As a player I enjoy crafting, but this is TEDIOUS BUSY-WORK. I could be farming nodes, raiding, doing dungeons, pvp, etc

And what is the reward??? Oh yeah so you don’t fall TOO far behind the rest of the pack in terms of profession progression…

don’t forget the birdies & such that spawn on rocks & trees that ‘don’t have a path’ and are unkillable.

LOL yeah, I got a quest this week for 20 Vorquin horns. Each one has 2 horns so it should take 10 kills if we were in the real world but by Blizzard’s logic it took 72 kills to get 20 horns. I mean I felt like such a terrible person massacring these poor things.
