So I picked up leather working and skinning. And got to 65 on leather working. But I’m kind of wanting engineering/mining. Am I right that if I switch I lose the progress of the current professions of I switch?

Guess I can make a horde evoker and do engineering/mining and keep playing alliance evoker with leathering working/skinning for the transmogs.
