Professions resources on the web

In this thread, we'll create a good old-fashioned pile of links to resources on the web that are specific to professions in World of Warcraft. As you make suggestions of great websites that fit that description, I'll return to this first post and add your links (so long at they are germane).

I'll start us off with these:

WoWhead Professions Guides
Alchemy
Blacksmithing
Enchanting
Engineering
Herbalism
Inscription
Jewelcrafting
Leatherworking
Mining
Skinning
Tailoring
-----
Archaeology
Cooking
First Aid
Fishing

Now it's your turn!
Moo.

Here's a spreadsheet I made to help track what you can make with the professions. (It also helps show costs of materials vs. things produced)
Icy-veins has guides too. I like how they included leveling professions under the overall garrison guide they did, since the two are inextricably linked in WoD.

http://www.icy-veins.com/wow/garrison-guides [essentially the table of contents for their links]
http://www.wow-professions.com/

That's where I always go when I need to look up the most efficient leveling method or farming locations. There's a few posts on WoD stuff now too.
This is also one of my Fav sites to use. http://www.wow-professions.com
They are updated for WoD. Good Questing and may your professions line your bags with gold!

Routes is amazing once you figure out a good route to farm for gatherers. :)
I have no interest in a guide from anywhere at this point.

What is there to learn? There isn't anything to professions any more.

The biggest problem is that professions were the main reason I played my alts. Now I know I face hours of follower mini-games and questing before I can level professions.

I just cant face it. If I don't play Alts the length of time I play WoW is going to be much shorter. Expect a LOT of cancelled accounts in the coming months.
Strategy Guide for Mining:
Drop mining and pick up something else immediately.
You forgot the new profession byline Kaivax...

Crafting has been gutted in Draenor.
Got any strategy guides on how to do something about the obnoxious amount of RNG you have put in professions?

I agree

I don't understand how a cooldown varies between an hour to days.

What happened to Beta to identify these issues.
Yes where is the blue now to explain why professions are worthless now? It took me 3 days after I hit 100 to craft 1 piece because the mats take forever to farm then I'm limited on the number of pieces I can wear from my OWN professions? Then I can't even use gear enhancement upgrades from my OWN professions because the gear level is too high. You guys were better of just deleting professions all together and giving use a gold refund for all the stuff we had to use to level them up. You guys really messed up with this one. But you got me. I bought the game jokes on me. Thanks Blizz.
Professions have taken a nose-dive. I used to make gold by mining ores and other stuff and being able to turn a decent profit. Now with a glutton market for the two newest/somewhat useful ores.. I got nothin really. Prices are super low, and there's no demand because of the mines. Plus you have those turds in the AH that piecemeal the crap outta things using stacks of 1... Min stack of 5 items for ores/herbs is needed.
I'm drowning in flasks!!!
Sell your mats until the market is flooded due to everyone having level 3 everything in the garrison, and in the meanwhile, run LFR for better gear. No need to worry about proffs at all this expansion. Just think what the next one will bring!
Step 1: Forget about professions in draenor
Step 2: Sell any mats you get from your Garrison
Step 3: Cross your fingers that maybe next expansion things will get better
The cooking guide seems to link to Mists cooking - I saw nothing about WoD changes or methods.
Kaivax: your Archaeology link points to a Mists of Pandaria guide, not to a Warlords of Draenor guide.
Although it hasn't been updated for WOD and if fact still contains info preCataclysm, http://wow.crafterstome.com/home.html is a wonderful resource for Pandaria and before. And, as has been pointed out, who cares about Draenor professions anyway,,,
I agree that the crafting is long and that there are a lot of "other" requirements to speed it up, but there have always been limits on the number of epic crafted gear you could wear. For the last two expansions, there were only 2 at a time, sure you could equip from the previous patch, but those were considerably lower level, and you couldn't choose to replace say, crafted boots with a ring because those were not makeable at all. At least in this xpac we can choose which, and change it if we find a drop that is better instead of wasting it. And also keep it until we can upgrade it again later.

My real issue is with the difficult in getting the 4th level of upgrade, too darn painful to try to find someone with the vendor up. I think the new system works, just not good for those trying to get that last edge to complete some more content.
