I first bounced this around in a separate forum and once i tried something that was suggested, I was advised to submit a bug report.
This is happening to the 3 characters i’ve tried so far.
When I go to a trainer my level is high enough to learn the next recipe, but the ‘train’ button is greyed out and the recipes are ‘unavailable’.
One example;
Zashia; Legion Tailoring. I am at 80 in the tailoring window. I made a splint that should have upped me 2 levels. It did not. It stayed at 80. AND In my professions tab my level shows only as 62. I know I had been at 80.
This is just one character, it’s happened with another one in Zandalari cooking and and another in Legion Enchanting. I am at the correct level to learn the next recipe. But cannot.
I have print screens, please let me know what I can provide.
Make sure the appropriate expansion is selected in the drop-down window of the profession pane.
In all cases it is.

You can see at the Tailoring trainer, my level shows 80 but the recipes for level 80 are not available.

Right. That is true. But, shouldn’t the first image, which is the profession trainer, match the second image which is my profession page? It does with most of my characters. (not all because i am experiencing this with other toons, expansions) and it always has. Why not now. And when I attempt to level, the profession trainer’s level never increases.
it SHOULD, but it’s a bit wonky since they changed it to only display things via expansion.
it seems to have got worse.
the display issue is a bug, but it can be worked around
Wonky! Yeah. I understand wonky. I know i am at 80, what the trainer shows. I used all my regents, i created countless shoulder armor…A work around would be awesome. But, if it is a known bug that is being looked at, and will be solved at some point. I’m good, I can be patient…. i REALLY want the Beloved Raptor Plushie…
