Professions in SL

I usually have a gathering profession + Enchanting for money making purposes. I’m wondering now if I should switch it up since professions seem to be more meaningful in Shadowlands. Perhaps I would be better off with skinning and Leatherworking? I’m curious as to what you guys will be doing.

Herb/alch.

Its nice to have something to do in the wee hours of the morning, pots and flasks sell well and the two hour buff is nice. And now we can make weapon oils.

That’s a swell idea! I think I’ll do that!

oils work on ranged weapons?

I have 2x max level Hunters. One is Herba/Alchemist and the other is a Skinner/Leatherworker.

Looks like Herba/Alchemist is still the way to go. My Hunter who has it would be my main in Shadowlands.

I wonder how powerful the food buffs in Shadowlands. If so, I would also be busy with Fishing and cooking. It has to be a Panda Hunter to take advantage with Epicurean.

I’m going with skinning/leatherworking, primarily for tradition and transmog but also to sell leather early on, and make my own legendary pieces later.

I still love me my Engineering on my hunter. Never a money-maker, but it’s nearly always useful. And the new Wormhole Generator for Shadowlands only has a 15m cooldown, so popping between zones is easy peasy. Also, they still have a battle rez in SL (though with the same annoying restrictions), so that’s something. I’ve definitely saved wipes in M+ with that rez before.

You know I didn’t even think to look. It looks like it should (at least I can’t find anything that says it doesn’t) and if not they are not souldbound so you can still sell them.

Edit: Yes they can
