Is there any point in having the same crafting profession on both Alliance and Horde?
depends but more than likely not
I don’t think so, unless you want your characters on both factions to be able to use certain items from the profession.
Engineering, for example, where you can craft (and use) a brez if you’ve levelled it sufficiently.
