What’s the general consensus on druids in SOD and professions? Specifically thinking about feral druids since they won’t be popping out of forms to use engineering items if they are providing the windfury-like buff for their melee group. Curious to hear your thoughts.
Have always been herb/alch as it’s a solid way to make gold and save on consumes.
Plan on mining/eng to be a grenade throwing boomkin in SoD
Might be worth looking into LW for crafting patterns if they add any new patterns in.

Hopefully they update LW so it can be more useful.
Because of the restrictions of forms, Alchemy Herb is usually the best choice.
Maybe leatherworking.
Bears usually get Enchant to get Smoking Heart and then move on.
But you will get huge benefits from Alchemy and Herb is just so easy.
I’ll be doing herbs / alch. On alliance, both teldrassil and darkshore are excellent for herbs. I usually skip most of darkshore because it is slow and spread out - a lot of end to end running. But my guess is all the alliance druid runes that are in the open world will be in teldrassil, darkshore, ashenvale or stonetalon mountains. Darkshore has many nasty spots (caves and underwater locations) where runes could be located.
the new LW recipes are BoP and they have hit chance. LW will definitely be one of your profs as a feral. for the other, not sure. enchanting has that nice armor trinket at 60, alchemy would be useful as well

It will probably be easy to have some alts leveling with your main. If your main is a boomy I think you would want to have Tailoring for those [Extraplanar Spidersilk Boots] at the lvl 25 bracket that was leaked, they are bop. I am not sure about a second profession, possibly engineering, herb (if you’re going to be on this character in the open world a lot to pvp, etc), or another that may have some worthy bop items that are focused on casters. If enchanting mana oils are boe, then having an alt with enchanting as well as an alt with alchemy (to feed herbs to make your potions) is a must.
