Professions for a BM Hunter?

Just wondering what I should do?

I love to enchant but what goes with enchanting for a hunter?

Also do hunters still use scopes? Or do they enchant their bows?

Ideas welcome.

Skinning maybe? Might fetch a pretty coin as people need their leather and scales. For my BE mage I did tailoring and enchanting which at least in DF were working quite well together but…for my hunters I did engineering to make things to make my auto attacks have added damage or effects. Sadly engineering requires mining to work but each their own. Could always farm hides with skinning or farm herbs or ore as crafting mats at one point do sell pretty well and who knows you may need some for enchanting recipes

Mining/Engineering is the usual go-to for most Hunters, can make your own guns and scopes. And yes, you can put scopes on any ranged weapons.

I’m personally Leatherworking/Skinning so I can make my own mail gear.

Alchemy/Herbalism if you want to make your own consumables/potions/elixirs and not have to buy any.

Or two gathering professions, and just sell whatever you harvest.

tailoring is popular as a companion to enchanting because you can turn cloth into greens into dust, but it’s not really hunter-related. Mine is engineering, mostly for the portals but the guns and scopes are nice.

Skinning and LW.

or

Mining and Engy.

Generally, Mining and Engineering are the best for Hunters (if only for Loot-a-rang).
Although, there can be a case for Skinning and Leatherworking too.
If you’re really set on Enchanting, then tailoring would still work as a source for Enchanting mats, and bags.

I’ve always been herbing/alch and never regretted it. We are also getting the expanded timer on flasks with TWW I believe.
