Professions - Consistent "Create All" bug: missing ingredients

With materials in my bags, or from my warbound bank, the Create All option on the in-game profession window periodically errors out after create one or two with a missing ingredient" error. Once this occurs once, it persists.

As an example, I have a stack of 1000 Basically Beef. Using the Create All button to create Portioned Steak, one craft is finished, and the second one errors out, throwing an error message on the screen: Requires 5 Basically Beef

I have attempted to pinpoint a specific failure mode here to no avail. Things I have tried:

  • Enabling and disabling specific addons
  • Disabling all addons
  • Resetting the UI completely (removing WTF, Interface, and Cache folders)
  • Changing specific talents
  • Removing all buffs and armor/trinkets to avoid secondary effects
  • Changing specializations
  • Reloading the UI via /reload

None of this works.

The odd thing is, prior to encountering this, I’ll successfully craft a full, separate stack of items using the Create All button. This is not exclusive to Portioned Steak or Basically Beef; I have seen this with a variety of Alchemy crafts, as well.

Update on this. The reason this occurs is because the Create All feature appears to consistently re-check bags for the ingredients, always defaulting to the first stack it encounters. When, for example, a stack of 3, then a stack of 200 exist – in that order – the Create All workflow will fail, because it is only attempting to use the stack of 3 instead of merging stacks.

This feels like a poorly implemented feature, and I’m going to consider this a bug.

Having the same issue.
Trying to create Portioned Steak with all the mats in my bank. After 1 craft it keeps telling me ‘requires 5 basically beef’ even though the window shows i have more than 500.
