Profession trainers not showing on map or minimap tracker

hey everyone,

so today i misclicked on my minimap tracker i meant to click “Townsfolk” and clicked “None” by accident.

Now when i click on a NPC guard in a capital city to find where a profession trainer it use to mark on the map with a red flag where that NPC was in town – Now when i try to find a profession NPC it is not marked with a red flag and the map shows no sign where to find this NPC in the capital cities. i am completely lost and dont want to spend 20 minutes looking for that NPC when i am not familiar with the Alliance towns when i have been playing horde for 9 years. This is EXTREMELY frustrating when i dont have alot of time to play and trying to learn the map layout.

is there a setting i reset everything to default without messing up all my keybind macros and just reset the “map tracking”

Any help would be much appriecated, thank you in advance.

I went to see if I could figure out what setting you needed, only to discover that guards were not marking stuff for me either even on characters it was recently working on (without touching any settings.)

A bit of googling brought up this thread, so it looks like something broke with the latest patch, not anything you did.

I’m going to go do an in game bug report on it now, I’d recommend you do the same if you get the chance.

As of a couple of days ago, I was not able to use the townsfolk tracker where you could track people who do repairs and such.

Anyone else having this issue?

They’ve “streamlined” the tracking options in the default interface.

This addon should bring them back:
