I am very confused by this: Level 1 Renown rewards “All Professions Tables, Vendors, and a Crafting Order Specialist become available at the Incontinental Hotel.” (per Wowhead) -BUT- these are only available within the raid?? What the heck?? How is that supposed to work? We’re supposed to go work on our professions in the middle of the raid? Who’s going to do that? very confused 
Please make the profession stuffs available OUTSIDE the raid.
So the crafting tables are located at the start of the raid, the entrance is right at the incontinental hotel. The renown you are referring to is the raid reputation, only available by doing the raid.
You can hop in the instance and get to the crafting tables without encountering any raid mobs. So if you absolutely need a crafting table in undermine you could just pop in the green portal. But the Dorn teleport is just a small D.R.I.V.E. from the hotel… I just go to Dorn myself. I use the raid tables when raiding.
It is in the raid so that you can hop back to the start using the loyalty card (renown 4) and if the raid needs something (e.g. vantus runes), you can craft it right there. You don’t have to use my already lovingly crafted portable profession device (sobs) . Or if somebody gets enough crests while raiding to recraft their weapon you can do it in a short break.
Thank you for your reply, that makes a lot of sense. Obviously, I’m not a “professional” raider LOL. Most of the PUGs I’ve been in, no one is going to stop the raid for someone to go run off and do any profession stuff.

It is an engineering item you can make. It’s actually really cool! It transforms into the various tables. The animation is super cool. It can even be a campfire (by breaking it)!
