Hey guys
I’m making a new warrior (arms) on classic to play through and was wondering whether Alchemy or Blacksmithing would be better? Play style will be solo&group levelling and PVP, not into PVE.
Alchemy seems better for obvious reasons, health pots as a warrior etc, but I’m wondering if BS would be better due to making my own armour, saving money in buying armour etc?

Engineering would be better
The lightbulb is correct, engineering would be best. Unless you are money bags, and like popping potions, food and bombs every death.
For a new character blacksmithing/alchemy could be argued to be more useful as levelling professions. But professions are very cumbersome and you’ll spend hundreds of hours chasing the mats down.
Engineering supplies bombs (extra damage), nice goggles, run fast boots, slow fall cloak and one pretty kewl chicken.
I dont remember if you get the extra stealth detection in vanilla from goggles, but if you do and are serious about bg’s they can be very useful, if somewhat gimping.
