Profession Knowledge Question

I acquired numerous knowledge points which I spent on Alchemy. Several of those points were gained by picking up explorer expedition packs. I recently switched to Leatherworking. Now that I’ve already found the explorer’s expedition packs, I’m finding it to be much slower to gain knowledge for Leatherworking. Are there other good ways to acquire knowledge? Thanks, in advance.

craft one of each item, do your weekly quests for the artisans, and look up your hidden profession master.

And look up your hidden knowledge items.

Thanks. I’ll look them up.

there is a fixed budget from various sources. so in the long run you end up in the same place.

the packs respawn, get scrambled around… they’re not a one-off.

Oh ok cool! I did not know that. Thanks !

Dont forget to make a work order for a treatise for your proffesion.

Once a week you can gain 1 point from inscriptionists. They are BOP but they can also multicraft so you might end up with 3 instead of 1 like i did…in herbalism…im a miner blacksmith. Kek.

is it limited to one per prof or can i do one for mining and one for BS same week?

Here you go. Just go down the list: Hidden profession masters(one time), Hidden treasures(one time), first time crafts, first time gathers. Weekly quests. You also get some with some renown factions after x renown.

Also, you can get 4 knowledge points a week: 2 from treasure chests/dirt, and 2 from killing or gathering stuff.

And here is a weakaura suggested by someone on there to track what you have so far that week. Just go to custom options and check your profession. The drop rates are good enough that you’ll get them all after a few treasures/kills/gathers.

ALSO, raid and m+ have a low chance to drop Dragon Shards of Knowledge. The wowhead guide above covers it and how to unlock the drops and where to turn them in.

It’s one a week per profession. So you can do both your professions, once a week.
