Items like “Book of Dark Magic” that say “Study to increase your Khaz Algar Enchanting Knowledge by 3.” are not increasing Enchanting at all.
I haven’t had any issues except with the book of dark magic. It just disappeared, didn’t get put into my inventory, and I could never loot it again even after relogging and returning
For me it’s happened with at least 10 different items. They’re put into my inventory, I use them, and no increase happens.
Just tried it on another character with Inscription. It didn’t work.
NVM me. The items I’ve been using are for specialization knowledge. I thought they leveled the actual profession. Problem was between keyboard & chair, official an ID10T issue.
