Profession Help

Hey everyone I was curious for the people who do professions for gold making what two professions would be good for a Druid in a high pop server?

Probably alchemy. They’re adding air-swimming type flying in 10.2, so we’ll see a huge increase in herb supply as the world fills up with unguilded level 70 druid/evoker pairs flying around picking flowers for 20 hours a day (). If you start grinding out the profession points now in alchemy, you’ll be in a good place to use resourcefulness and multicraft to make pots and phials for the new raid.

Take herbalism to go with it and pick flowers yourself in Zaralek caverns - the spores that come with certain flowers are still worth between 9-11g each depending on the day of the week, and you can always use them for your dracothyst cooldown.

yeah. herblism is right for druids. it’s either way of alchemist or inscription.

as someone with alts covering all professions i can tell you alchemy didnt make much money for me… i think there is a lot of competition and you’re up against people who multiproc/resource save at max levels.
gathering profs also now very hard to compete on - but sure… those do bring in some money. for example, i get tipped 5k gold often on crafts (or more)… how much would you have to gather for to make this much?

personally i found leatherworking, blacksmith, scribe, enchanter and tailor most demanded. engineering also sometimes but not a big one for me.
edit: forgot jc… thats a good one too.
