Where would they have space to improve? They already improved latency, redid the back-end programming, have redone the graphics many many times.
They iterate on systems every expansion.
The only place to go is new settings, classes and mechanics.
I would just really like azeroth to be the center of attention again. Not kul tiras, zuldazar or the broken isles. I mean the main zones. “They did that in cata” so? Do it again and better because there’s a lot of good zones that are completely empty and ignored. Go to felwood and find someone, you won’t. So what they have now is a whole pile of empty zones ripe for reinvigorating
I believe when people are talking about WoW 2 they are referring to a WoW game with a new graphics engine. They want WoW with state of the art graphics.
One of wow’s biggest strengths is that it will run well on a toaster. Put in state of the art graphics, and combine that with 30 people spamming light shows, and you’ll get a slideshow. I can hear the crying now. WTH … I need a 3090 to run wow, woe is me … People already cry about having to pay $15 a month, and now they want to shell out for 3k video cards every 2 years. LOL

I just laugh at people who bring up a WoW 2. A new AAA MMO would cost millions (project titan was estimated to have cost $50,000,000 before it was cancelled). Also the average time on bringing a MMO to market is 6 years. Considering how bad Blizzard’s development cycle is I would expect it to be longer then that for them.
That can be done with current wow and we have seen 2 graphics overhauls in the last 18 years. It seems people who want a WoW2 want a new engine, new world, new story, ect. Some want characters to transfer others want it to be a completely fresh start.

I agree with you 100%. My computer can run this game more than adequately. I’d really hate to have to upgrade my computer to play the game. I’m not made of money. Let’s keep it so WoW can still run on toasters.
Yep. That would also mean me having to spend 1000s of dollars on a new computer. No thanks. 
To my great shame it has been 6 years since my last computer upgrade. I am going to have to do it soon regardless.

I think just having a MANDATORY developer gameplay would fix alot of issues with Current wow. I heard it said it makes sense when you tell yourself every 5 minutes, the developers do not play this game, And I tried it. I got into Korthia yesterday b4 my sub expires (ive been in TBCC since it came out and no retail) And as i did the ardenweald battle, maw, korthia intro getting my renown to 35 or so now, i kept thinking there is no way the devs play this. It is stupid easy, and no exploration for you the player. Its just do this, click glowing person, arrow says go here, now hop on this, BAM you win. It felt incredibly empty and im only 205 on my character and NEVER was once in danger.
