Hi guys, just a quick question about the charge skill. It cannot be used in combat. The problem I’m running into is when I’m in a group. The tank charges or engages in combat some way and most times that puts me in combat meaning I cant use my charge ability. I don’t get the rage required to use my skills.
BUT sometimes I can still use the charge ability. Anyone know why this works like this and is there a way I can charge in all the time after the tank has engaged?
What your probably experiencing is the slight delay between your tank engaging and the mobs generating aggro on the party as a result. The charge window is very small just after someone pulls Maybe 1-3 seconds max. This window is also affected if you cast spells (e.g. battleshout) after he has engaged in combat.
The most consistant way to get your charge in is to simply just be quick at reacting just after your tank has aggroed.
Wish it didn’t work like that. When I do tank I always hate it when a warrior charges in at the same time I do. For some reason arms warriors as dps get rage a lot faster than one in Defensive stance. It always a major pain to get aggro back from them. When I do dps I don’t want to be that warrior that tanks hate.
Tanks probably charging then battle shouting.
Legends say you can’t master the art of charge, it masters you. There are times where I was tanking scholomance and my character in combat charged down the stares and zipped around a corner to a mob I tab targeted.
You’re going to struggle getting a charge on boss pulls as they automatically put everyone in combat. However the farthest away from the initial trash mob pull the higher chance you won’t be placed in combat. Keep your distance to avoid buffs until you charge in.
What you do here is you let the DPS warrior tank the 1st kill target and just focus on gathering up the rest. He won’t die. And he’ll get more rage from the mob beating on him and do more dps. Seriously, just let him have it and don’t stress over it.
You’re not wrong, but an even easier solution is to not invite dps warriors. It’s just loot competition. I know when I’m on my war I dont join group with other wars or invite them.
