I find that I have to go to wow head for information about quests. I was able to minimize the WoW window to look up information. Now, in window mode, my cursor can’t leave the window, which is forcing me to exit the game so I can look up quest information, and then I have to log back in.
Does anyone else have this problem and/or know of a work around?
Any help would be appreciated.
Is this a setting!? My windowed game has no issues alt-tabbing between the game and another app (Chrome, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
I am having the same problem, and it started only a couple of days ago. I’ve checked settings and there is nothing there that fixes the issue. A work around for me is to go “Fullscreen mode” & then to press my windows key which minimises WoW, so then I am able to access other programs (e.g. Google). This is not a "fix "though as in the past I was able access all other programs by simply leaving the game screen. Hope someone can point us in the right direction to fix the very frustrating problem.
I have found the problem: when I deleted the Cache folder (in the “_classsic_folder” of WoW) my cursor was once again able to leave the WoW window. I did the same for retail version of the game.
