Problem with high latency

Good evening! During the past couple of months I’ve been experiencing a recurring increase in world lag that makes it impossible to play the game. At first it started during raid encounters so I disabled all addons but it didn’t work. Now it’s affecting every single time I try to play the game, mostly during the evening. I ran WinMTR with the IPs I got from windows resource monitor and tthe results are below:

I’ve tested with other IPs as well and the results are very similar. Can someone help me diagnose these issue pretty please? Also on a side note, I’m Brazilian and been playing this game for almost 10 years and only this year this has started.

These are not Ping Plotter tests, they are WinMTR. They show an average latency of 134 to 172ms, which is to be expected connecting from Brazil to Chicago.

Having world lag go from 131 to 600+ making it impossible to play is also to be expected? Strange…

Unfortunately, that’s a concern to raise with your ISP. A VPN might help in the meantime.

Blizz has no involvement with how you reach the Google data center in Chicago, and they don’t offer courtesy troubleshooting anymore anyway.
