Problem with brann (real issue)

so here’s what is happening on my brewmaster monk. not sure if this belongs in tech support or here.

brann isn’t building any agro. zero. none. i tried to figure it out with other players in the general delve chat. people are saying that brann can dps for you and hold a little agro if you heal slowly or slow dps. i am getting NONE

my issue is the mobs dont even recognize that brann is even there.

i pulled with my weakest attack (jade lightning) doing 15k damage (this is less than 0.1% of the mobs health, it has 15 mil hp) and then brann proceeds to dps over HALF of the mobs HP and he still has ZERO agro. the mob chases me until either i die or the mob dies. all the while i am doing NOTHING. no attacks, no heals, yet the mob still chases me while brann is dps’ing the crap out of it.

i also tried this same thing but with a body pull. doing zero damage, and zero healing, the mob still only agros to me. never at all even targeting brann even for a split second. im watching the agro% above the mob stay constantly over 130% although it does fluctuate from ~130-150% agro.

this is NOT what brann is supposed to do according to all the other players in the delve. brann will at least get the mobs to attack him.

anyone experience anything similar? am i doing something wrong? i know blizzard is full of poop programmers that cant do anything right but this is worse than anything ive ever experienced before in the 20 years ive played wow. when 30+ playes in game tell me something should be happening and yet its not, it gets rather frustrating

dont tell me “DPS LESS” like the trolls in general chat. this happens with ZERO DPS and ZERO HEALS. i literally do nothing but run and i hold agro over brann doing 1mil dps.

Experiencing this now on my hunter. Decided to try Marks and went into a T8 that I cleared earlier on my shaman as ele. Mobs just won’t target Brann at all. For one mob, I tapped it once with a single shot while Brann was right next to me in range and then ran in circles kiting it in hopes that Brann would take aggro. 20% of the mob’s HP later without me touching it a single time (aside from initial pull) and it still won’t look at Brann.

Earlier on ele shaman, I would blast into mobs and Brann would take it like a champ. This is definitely a bug.

Also, misdirect will not work on Brann.

edit Update: I switched Brann to healer, then back to dps and now he seems to be working again and taking aggro.

small indie company guys.
This npc AI is hard stuff to program.

its 2024 and we got ai that can write code but we can’t get a proper NPC to heal or tank correctly.
On that note where is the “tank” option on Brann? me playing a Mage would love for Brann to be a tank pally or something
