Edited:
I formerly wanted a containment realm for streamers, youtube content creators and all the fan-boys + the tourists, but some practical solutions have been provided that mostly eliminate the issue.
Thanks for the actual solutions.
There is going to be at least 2 for pvp and pve.

Honestly I want streamers on my server for Classic.
The entire reason most people prefer Vanilla over Retail is because of how much it does to promote player-driven events. While I do appreciate why streamers have the negative reputation they do, one thing that they do incredibly well is creating and promoting player-driven events. I think in Retail most of their events amount to little more than an annoyance for the general population mostly because Retail is designed to promote smooth grinding and very little else. In Vanilla though, the disruption caused by these sorts of events was what breathed life into the game.

Yeah.
The reason I don't want the WoW streamers I know about on the same realm as me is because I dislike those specific streamers, not because I have a problem with the concept.
lol @ you nerds crying about streamers. who gives a sh!t.
I could care less about streamers. I don't watch video games, I play them.
LATAM basically had that before the switch on pvp and pve reamls
yah this will never happen,lol.

I could care less about them personally, its their fans that I dont really want to associate with.
Furthermore I would also like to direct all the tourists to a single place; this helps prevent issues with over populated standard cap realms.
Essentially this is all a very nice way to avoid sharding and all the cancer that it presents.
Entitlement is strong with the OP.

No entitlement here; it's quite the opposite actually. I want all the tourists kept in a holding pen with their streamers; these are the sub only servers that will be swamped with trolls.
The rest of us can then enjoy a PAID server experience where you buy the game, then pay the subscription in addition.
As you can see, it's exactly the opposite of entitlement.
Think it would be too crowded myself.
We all know that it will end like that, so it is better to implement the Classic WoW as a single megaserver with the War Mode system implemented, to save all the inconvenience/drama caused by imbalance/server merging.
11/12/2018 01:37 PMPosted by HärländThere is a very good reason to have a single mega server per geographical location.
I am not saying however that normal population servers should not exist and should be the lions share of the servers and their population, but bare with me a moment for the reasoning on the "mega server"
1: I want a server to exist where all streamers and YouTube's content creators are required to go if they want to make their content. I do not want them and their fan base on my server.
2: make these the realms you can get for "free" with a BFA subscription, meaning it funnels most of the tourists here.
If streamers or commercial YouTube content creators are on a standard realm and caught; they will be warned to cease operations immediately or accept immediate transfer. If caught again their characters (all of them) will be moved to an appropriate mega server. If they're caught streaming / making money in any way related to WoW classic while on a non-mega server, then their classic WoW account will be closed and all of their characters will be deleted.
How do I get into a standard Vanilla population server with a BFA account? Pay $50.00 for Classic WoW in addition to the subscription.
These are not your servers, you have to play with the rest of us riff raff, you aren't special.
Streamers will ONLY ROLL PVE, thus zero chance it effects me.....
Server merging will be required after a few months, that is the million dollar question to answer.

I got excited for it.
I don't agree you on this topic though. From what im getting is that you want to make a containment server for e-celebs and riff raff. If you want to avoid both of those kinds of people then play a central or a mountain time server. East coast is also okay if you live over there. I live in AZ and I will almost definitely be on a central server. West coast servers are full of riff raff. West coast servers contain these.
-Streamers
-Squeakers
-Brazilians
-Chinese who want to play with americans?
-Central/South Americans who hate playing ME BR HUEHUEHUE
-Weird deviants
Basically if you avoid west coast pvp servers and west coast rp servers you will find what you want.
