I kinda miss it, hunter is so mindless right now on live. Has been for awhile.

IK I’m bumping this thread, but it’s so helpful! Just started a New Hunter, and I’ve been taming specific Pets that have certain abilities, and I wanted to further make comment on this particular comment.
It most definitely can take awhile, sometimes. I remember engaging in like 10+ different “fights” in order to learn (Rank 2) Bite, so my Pets can learn it 
Bumping as well, just to say it took me 20-25+ to learn bite 4… so much so that I went to google to see if there was something wrong and wound up here.
