How are you not sure at this point?

Because unfortunately the greatest of trolls and biggest of idiots are often indistinguishable from each other, if not one and the same.
if anything needs nerfed itâs fire mages
no1 stacking rets and ferals
fire will be #1 and mages can basically ignore half the mechanics
Yes, now that everything is undead, divine storms are being reset, etc youll see it go down a little, I looked at the rank 1 parse on festergut and it was 8.5% of his damage.
additionally, if we look at a fight like festergut that has a lot of range movement but for melee is largely a tank and spank, we can see that the worst spec by far is arms, then blood⌠and then (drumroll please) Fury Warrior!
Definitely became 252 kings right? Ret outperforming by quite a bit actually.
The real winner in phase 4 are fire mage, survival hunter, feral, and ret.
https://classic.warcraftlogs.com/zone/statistics/1020/#boss=849
None of that has anything to do with the buffs though? At all? Even a little bit?
And it will continuously become less and less, obviously with some variance since it can crit.
I take it back, Turbo isnât the biggest victim complex on the forums.
Uhhh, what? Maybe you should take a look again. Speaking of Festergut, my guildâs alt run is doing awful so we killed it on normal and I absolutely destroyed as Blood on that fight:
Abralan wonât be happy until being a fury warrior is a ticket to number 1 on the DPS meters without gear or playing well.
Itâs not enough that theyâll get up there by the end of the phase and are currently a mid tier DPS.
After playing Feral Tank/DPS through Vanilla Classic, TBC Classic, and Wrath Classic, never once asking for a buff or even considering a buff as a possibility, I often return to threads like these just to warm my heart. Thereâs nothing quite like slurping up the copium soaking posts like these. A warm meal doesnât even come close.
The best part? If tomorrow they nerfed Feral into the ground, Iâd still play it. You should try it with your class; it can be done!
No one is asking for it to be nerfed into the ground, but you shouldnât have been buffed to literal top dps in the game.
I never said that anyone wanted that. The point is that the whining about how your teammates who are playing a historically unimpressive class are now helping you and your raid get more loot faster is so ridiculous that it just tickles me. If it somehow significantly bled into PvP or something, I could see where you all are coming from; but from where Iâm standing, youâre the kid at the playground with an old toy throwing a temper tantrum because someone else got a cooler toy than yours from Santa Claus.
If a guild is dropping core raiders to pick up ferals or forcing people to reroll feral alts, why would you want to raid with them anyways? Just play the class you like and have fun; it really can be done! I did it for 2 1/4 expansions!
While I agree it is asinine to make further adjustments at this point unless the numbers start to really show a major disparity - I do find this line amusing.
I mean, when itâs me that gets buffed other players are âmy team matesâ when itâs someone else theyâre âmy competitorsâ.
At the end of the day fairness is important, if people feel others are getting an unfair and unnecessary leg up they will get peeved. You would too if you were on the other end of it.
The problem in this case though is we are talking about small increments. The specs as they are are all pretty close in this phase - going on sims. Obviously reality may turn out different. But I do understand why a class getting a buff that moves them from good to very good has got some players raising eyebrows. Your class got a meaningful buff when it didnât need one. Right at the point where other classes (Rogues in particular) are starting to decline.
Speaking of reality - Assassination seems to be pulling its weight better than the sims suggested in the progression weeks of this phase - they will drop off, but theyâre doing better at this gear point than predicted. I suspect our predictions will not neatly match with how the phase actually pans out.
going to stats and looking at ranks based on a 90 or 95 parse is going to be a lot more useful that what a single guild did on a normal mode of a boss??
IDK yaâll arenât letting this thread die yet, the goal posts arenât even on the field anymore or even in the same area code.
Yes, I understand the irony of my post.
There is no point arguing with the golden class of the paladins, the devs clearly want them this way, they wonât be getting nerfs and might even be getting more buffs.
Sweet Iâve got a few alts that are about to be 80. Can you please instruct me on how to get a deathâs choice, âfor free?â
Please donât tell me I have to work for it, because thatâs not any more âfor free, â than when I had to work for it in raid.
Thanks.
Haha, you still donât get it. My guild is average and I had to fight tooth and nail to get them to let me raid as Blood.
Blood is better than it appears on logs because youâre looking at raw data and drawing conclusions with zero context. If Blood and Frost were equally represented across all the data, theyâd be nearly neck and neck at every percentile.
Could you be any more entitled?
All you have to do is farm about 12 dungeons and you get it. Thatâs pretty much for free without using any skills.or needing anyone else to get it.
Itâs called welfare epics.
as opposed to potentially doing one of the easiest raids around and having it drop without having to farm a currency? Sounds like your logic points to raid drops being âWelfare Epicsâ.
SO which is it? is it âessentially freeâ from raids or from badges?
Could be true anecdotally for someone else, but I was happy for Ret Paladins when they got their buff as well. Rest assured, I practice what I preach.
I really just have a hard time understanding the view that your guildmates/raid members are âcompetitorsâ. If other individuals in my raid do well, we down bosses and earn myself more shots at loot. Also, if you care about parsing, itâs all class-specific, no? The performance of another class is just about entirely disconnected from your own. So the feral druid in your raid is doing big damage (while doing a rotation that isnât exactly the easiest in the game); how does that harm you in a real, substantial way? Isnât it a good thing?
If the other classes got buffs, I wouldnât mind either. But the topic of this thread is about reverting the changes, not elevating others. Itâs just delicious to read these threads from the historically top performing classes (who again, were not nerfed) begging for the classes who they used to boot from their dungeon groups and add to their ignore lists to be beneath them again, like itâs some natural law of Azeroth or something, lmao.
And, as you said, we should wait for the actual results and not rely on sims to preemptively alter things.
Side note: I personally thought bearweaving was fun and, again, was completely blindsided by the buff, just as the vast majority of ferals were. I will have fun playing feral regardless of its state, because the game is fun. Simple as.
