Just looked at the new class changes coming, and I can’t believe Halo for holy spec is still not being fixed. Right now with Halo the way it is, Holy is absolutely wrecking everyone else because just one cast in raid does 20 million healing depending on the dmg taken by the raid group.
Right now Halo is NOT having diminishing healing after 6 raid members, therefore hitting and critting everyone in the entire raid for 200-350k. That’s insane for a one minute CD.
As the tooltip says, Halo should only be causing max healing on up to 6 members, and diminished greatly after 6. Currently this is not the case and it is causing max healing on ALL raid members. Therefore, it is making Holy priests look better than they actually are.
Our 98-99 parse Holy priest has confirmed this for the last few weeks and a lot of that high parse, healing AND dmg is coming from a completely broken Halo, which makes the rest of the healers in raid look worse because they do not have a broken raid wide heal on a one minute CD.
Thankfully our Holy Paladin is very good and only falls under the Holy priest by about 10 parse levels. Can only imagine having a broken 1 minute CD that heals the entire raid for 350k+ crit. Insane.
After going through logs and looking at the healing it’s doing it working exactly as the tooltip says it is. First 6 get big heals after that it does trivial healing. Remember that going out first six are different than the returning first 6.

Kinda feel sorry for your cohealer ngl, they put in the effort to play the spec to such a high level, only for you to disrespect and insult them this hard by saying they only got those numbers because they pressed a single spell when it simply isn’t true - especially when you consider percentiles are based on your performance relative to the others playing the exact same spec.
This means your cohealer is outperforming 98-99% of other holy priests, not other healer specs; so it’s clearly way more than just Halo you are giving your cohealer credit for.
And yet as the content scales up in difficulty, hpriest still falls off in HPS, and HPS is by no means the full measure of a healer.
Halo is a giant band-aid over a severely lacking core hpriest toolkit - if they want to give them a ranged AoE CC, an interrupt and a brez they can then think about shifting around some of that Halo throughput.
Imagine wanting to nerf your own team member’s healing because you’re butt hurt about getting whooped by a class that’s already inferior and being outperformed by the others lmao
