Pristine Cloud Serpent Scale: Farm-able?

I have noticed I can loot Rei Lun more than once daily (seemingly as often as premades allow) but am not certain this then means I can farm for the Pristine Cloud Serpent Scale.

Can anyone shade some light on this question?

I believe you can only do it once per alt per day.

You only have one chance a day for the scale. You’ll also get AP and possibly momentos. The rest of the times you loot, you’re going to get grey items.
