Where do you obtain the prismatic socket gems
, the auction house? I just got cuffs of grim conjuration. I’m guessing it doesn’t take a jewel crafter. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.
Prismatic sockets take any color of gem.

As Maganar said, any color gem matches a prismatic socket. Back when they decided to not have gem sockets be everywhere in WoD, they also simplified the gem system, changing all sockets to prismatic so that you didn’t have to worry about color matching. (I don’t think WoD gems even had colors.)
There are some older prismatic gems from BC and Wrath, but they’re worthless now. (It was originally a resist all gem — made by JCers from pearls.) The only thing special about them was that they matched any socket color. However, since even old sockets are now all prismatic and will match any gem, even that minor “bonus” is now irrelevant.
