So my main got the Snapdragon mount and changed its color. Rode around a bit and swapped to Evoker alt. Anytime he tries to summon the Snapdragon to ride, he does the animation but no snapdragon appears?

Decided to take my insriptionist (scribe) out to hunt for the Inky Snapdragon treat (black color) after my main finished the quest line and rode it around for a bit ( he did change it to the purple version ). The alternate character just makes the animation to mount the prismatic snapdragon but the mount doesnt render and commences to walk and not ride.
Edit- Just bought the royal snapdragon treat and my alternate can now mount it. Hmm.
2nd edit- Apparently if you want your alt to ride it, you just have to USE one of the colored treats that are sold for 5 currency by Zexel in the center of the snap dragons. Tested the 4 colors I have and all seem to work on the alternate character.
3rd edit- purchased a 40 stack on the main and placed them in the warbank for alt’s to use. Good to go for now.

Seems to be a bug on Alts that it doesn’t know what color to start as. As mentioned by Psychoslayer, if you buy a 5c treat the mount summons just fine. I put a stack of them in my warbank so any alts I want to ride it can w/o much effort. Hopefully they will fix it in the future…
Annoying, but not game breaking like Shuddering Hollow.

I can’t summon it on the character I got it on. It was after changing colors on it on 2 different characters. Maybe that has something to do with it.

same issue here. Made the Snapdragon purple on my main and now cannot summon on my alts

Not a solution but a workaround.
If you have acquired the Kaja’Cola-braised Snapdragon Treat and used it, or it is no longer on that character, speak to Blinky Greasefingers, they will give you another one, mail to alts. 30 copper per alt for mail.
This will unlock the ability to at least mount it on alts. Other color treats you will have to purchase from Zexel Fingersnap until (IF) Blizz fisgures out a solution for all characters to have same color upon summoning.
I like it as it is, may want different colors on different characters.

This was logged against the PTR, but never fixed. Even new content doesn’t matter anymore.

You have to use a treat then summon on alt for the color. That was happening to me too the. I used a treat and it summoned that color.
