Priory needs a nerf

It’s ridiculous to require a DK to do this dungeons. Not only you need DK to grip shooters, more importantly, you also need them to soak 5 charge pyres at the 2nd boss. A dungeon that requires a specific class to be playable is a horrible design.

If everyone stands in melee they jump to melee.

You don’t, what many people also don’t know is the group has 30 seconds to soak them all and stagger the damage.

It’s not really that it needs nerfed, it’s that you don’t understand how to beat it.

Which. Looking at your IO either it’s insane you don’t know this or you’re giga trolling.

How about…you move the mobs to the shooters? I do that when I tank on my demon hunter.

The soak on second boss isn’t a tank only mechanic. Everyone takes a piece of that pie.

You don’t pull 1 shooter, you pull 2-3 shooters.

For high keys, it’s impossible for healers to heal 5 charge pyres.

yep just stack and the shooters will all just jump on you, no big deal, soaks I have no idea about at high key levels, if dk’s are good for ams I assume pally bubbles, turtle work too?

If you don’t have a DK, shooters take time to jump to random player spots, thus they avoid a lot of ccs and dmg. Moreover, ranged dps tend to stay away from melee because of the knights’ cleave and shooters’ traps.

Tank should ideally do the lion’s share of it though. At least on a pug where you don’t have defensives and stuff coordinated. Just makes things easier.

Besides BDK and Prot pally (using their bubbles and AMS), tanks can only soak 2 charges of 5 charge pyres. More than that is suicidal.

I agree with mobs just running next to the tank, and not jumping on players anymore. Let rangers stand at range again. I also have this issue with Theater of Pain where basically the best way to play is to be in melee as ranged the whole dungeon.

Should be doing this in most dungeons. Much more convenient for most healers if you’re not off in Africa, not to mention most specs have CC that require you to be close.

Love it when my totems Chain Heal goes to the one clown rdps that sits at 40y every pack.

Except there is. Knights can do frontal + traps from shooters.

Knights impale random targets. All the more reason to be close, where every healer is more effective.

Sharpshooters do not cleave at all, traps go out in a square around them so the safest place to be is right in their face. Where they cannot drop traps.

Challenge stands. There’s not a single mechanic I can think of this season where it’s beneficial to be at max range, ever.

You could ask that the dungeon stop setting your dog on fire and people would still defend it.

Priory is definitely an outlier. It could use some tuning.

There are valid criticisms about how much damage stuff does in there. “Requiring” a dk is not.

So many deadly casters and mobs that do AoE. Then those stupid mobs at the end who explode on death??? just why…

There’s CC for that too - hunters have ice trap, rogue blind or whatever, etc, etc.

Dungeon even on a 7 feels harder than the rest. Right side still is way overtuned compared to left. The pulsing AoE from that lieutenant needs to be nerfed or removed. And the puddles need to not last forever or he needs to spawn fewer of them. First boss needs damage nerfs.

Paladins need nerfed too unpredictable. Second boss needs nerfed. Timer needs another minute

Yeah this dungeon has so far being the one thats given me the most trouble overall.

No other dungeon comes even close, it needs to be nerfed in general.

i’d like if they nerfed the dot/drill/laser thing from lightspawns a lil bit.
thing hurts a tad too much.

other than that its not too bad.
