Priory normal mode , Im healer, tank is DH. Notice during 1st boss their HP isnt moving. Decide not to cast HoT on them and see what happens. HP stays right at 99% or 100%. For the entire rest of the instance I did not cast 1 heal on them , not AOE healing. Entire time their HP is at 100 or 99%. Pulling huge amounts of mobs. Last boss fight same thing.
I’ve run Priory like 100 times and never seen this.
Priory normal needs a damage buff and/or DH tank needs a nerf.
I think I found the reason, it is not like that once you get to mythic keystone levels, even 0s.
Are we really calling for nerfs/buffs over normal dungeons these days?
Doesn’t matter.
If a tank is low to mid 70s they are basically god mode in a normal dungeon.
Although tanks with a lot of self healing don’t need a lot of healing in priory even on M0. You’ll have tanks survive on the 2nd boss explosion mechanic if people don’t do it while it one shots everyone else and they can just go on for awhile by themselves.
Normal drops 595 ish gear?
I dunno what the dh was geared in but it’s possible they entered that dungeon in stuff 50 ilvls better. Lol
You think it makes sense for tanks to not need healer during 50% of an instance?

No it doesn’t. Normal is for learning and leveling and the first step in the door of dungeons.

Tell us you haven’t played wow for long. Launch day normal mode content being face roll later seasons is nothing new. Also every month during four mythic dungeons tanks generally group with 4 dps after season one due to not needing the heals… It’s really nothing new or wrong.
If you want someone to live or die at your whim, pick a dps. Or go back to TF2.
Spam healing tanks is not fun, and is so zero-skill you could multibox it completely blind.

All forms of leveling dungeons need scaling adjustments so that lower level characters aren’t as giga-overpowered as they currently are.
I think a better solution would be to do away with normal/heroic versions of all dungeons, and start everybody at Mythic 0

If the tank was heavily geared, which is likely, then yeah, theyre unlikely to ever be in danger at such an easy dungeon.
Sometimes when queues are long blizzard gives you extra gold to queue as a tank in normals and heroics.
I often queue into them swap to my fury spec and tank them as fury to speed them up because you take so little damage.
